Building an Add-in for Microsoft
Outlook that will allow sharing data accross back-end system. The main
database will reside on
Lotus Domino server running
GroupForce CRM and the client using MS-Outlook.
GroupForce
Outlook should be able to do the following:

Search for contact in the main GroupForce database

Create, edit, delete contacts in GroupForce via MS-Outlook

Flag any MS-Outlook contact as being a GroupForce Contact or not

Get the list of activities for a contact flagged as GroupForce Contact
Problem to resolve:
By-passing Microsoft Office Security warning
Complying with Notes Security and credential while connecting to Notes Database
via web service (GroupForce Mobile)
Using existing MS-Outlook forms as much as possible.
Transfering Attachment files/pictures over the web service.
Case Solution:
Meeting with the Project Manager
Review of the specifications and requirements for MS-Outlook.
Decided on which Microsoft Office version to use ---> It was decided to be
compatible with Microsoft Office 2003 which give us the must flexibility for
integration, security and amount of data information availability.
Installation:
The GroupForce Outlook light is available.
After Installation:
After few month of testing, it was decided to expand the feature of the add-in,
so that we may use GroupForce Outlook to add, edit, delete tasks, Timesheet and
more.
